Avoid dropping it on a hard surface and contact with corrosive substances. When sterilizing, make sure that the protective cap is removed (the cap is not subject to sterilization). It is recommended that the instrument be sharpened only by a qualified specialist. It is resistant to all types of disinfection and sterilization, without loss of quality.
